“The Oriental Oats Valley” Debuts in Times Square

In August 2021, “The Oriental Oats Valley” presented on the big screen of Reuters in Times Square, New York, with multi-screen continuous broadcasting and magnificent momentum. There was a vertical banner with “Congratulations to the 9th Wuchuan (International) Oats Cultural Festival held in The ORIENTAL OATS VALLEY!” showed on the top of the big screen, attracted worldwide attention.

As the “crossroads of the world” where wealth and culture meet, and the world’s most watched commercial core area, the information broadcast here in Times Square in New York has repeatedly attracted the attention of media giants such as the BBC and Reuters.

A natural gold belt for planting oats has been formed along 41°N in China, successively crossing several provinces and reas including Jilin,Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Gansu and Xinjiang. Wuchuan County is one center of Inner Mongolia among these places. The planting  area extends from the west, Guyang County, to the east, Ulanqab City, and the production of oats  in this area accounts one third of China.This area is named as the “The Oriental Oats Valley”.

“The Oriental Oats Valley” promotes the construction of oat whole grain seeds and bases to become the back garden of the high-quality grain ration project, which is of great significance for solving the problems of global food trade, human health and food security.

In the past ten years, “The Oriental Oats Valley” has also bred a number of agricultural and animal husbandry companies, including the Yangufang Group. They are growing, going out of Inner Mongolia to the world.On the Inner Mongolia Plateau in the northern hemisphere, there is plenty of sunshine at 41°north latitude, large temperature difference between day and night, and clear air, where is also recognized by Chinese and foreign experts as the best oats producing area in the world.

In order to promote the oat culture and demonstrate the influence of the whole grain industry, the local government has held the Wuchuan (International) Oat Culture Festival in “The Oriental Oats Valley” every August since 2013. It uses oatmeal as a medium, integrating tourism and leisure, culture and entertainment, business docking, international exchanges, economic and trade forums, and food experience. It has become the largest oats culture festival in China.

In August, the 9th Wuchuan (International) Oats Culture Festival arrived as scheduled. “The Oriental Oats Valley” sincerely welcomes guests from all over the world to visit Inner Mongolia to enjoy the grassland scenery.
