A new cryptocurrency project, BRO, has recently launched to spotlight and destigmatize issues relating to men’s mental wellness as well as build a safe space for the rapidly growing BROs community to focus on topics including health and fitness, dating, entrepreneurship and all other self help and personal development related topics. It is created by BROs, for BROs. The vision of the BRO Project is to utilize the meme space in the crypto world to grow rapidly and be able to help BROs all over the world.

The vision of the BRO Project is not only about fostering a safe place to discuss men’s mental health and related topics, but also about the camaraderie between men. Everyone faces their individual struggles, and apparent weaknesses can seem amplified during those challenging times. But, we all also possess unique strengths as well that can be too easily overlooked. BRO is a community where we combine the collective strengths of our members to construct a supportive culture of positivity, reflection, and fun.

The BRO Project has big ambitions to give back in significant and meaningful ways, and to do it with a unique, playfully exaggerated attitude.  Local and national meetups, parties, fundraisers, fun chat rooms, volunteering, competitions, BRO NFTs, and any other awesome ideas the BROs can dream up. BROs just doing BRO things, to help each other out. And of course, the BRO token itself will play a central role in all of this.

Men often feel the weighty expectation to outwardly show strength and stoicism even in the face of great hardship. As a consequence, many are afraid sharing their difficult feelings is a sign of weakness, and so rather than seeking help, suffer through chronic and acute mental health episodes alone.

Crypto is very volatile and can easily take a toll on someone’s mental stability.  Many micro and macro decisions have to be made: Do you trade? Do you HODL? Do you time the market? Do you DCA? How much do you ape in?  Decisions which can be stress inducing and overwhelming to an individual and hammer his well-being.  Crypto projects communities could be a place to lean on for support, but they easily turn negative when the projects are not doing well and/or during market downturns.

Moreover, the Covid pandemic has isolated millions, if not billions, of people. Limited opportunities for in-person contact, the blurring of boundaries between work and personal lives, and great health and financial difficulties have all contributed to this crisis. Furthermore, rising civil unrest and political polarization and geopolitical instability are adding to an already long list of worries.

BRO is harnessing the blockchain community for a positive purpose. While cryptocurrency and traditional markets can be very volatile, the cryto community is tight-knit, presenting a strong opportunity to create a self-reinforcing culture of positivity and compassion. The community can be a shoulder to lean on rather than a source of stress and negativity. This is the BRO vision and one the BRO team is committed to bringing to fruition.

The BRO Project was launched on March 1st and has been an instant success: More than 1500 wallet holders,  25K USD already donated to Start Day One and another 25K USD ready to be donated, a thriving Telegram community.
