Fusion Art Announces the Winners of the 4th Annual Colors Art Exhibition

Palm Springs, CA, USA – March 6, 2020 – Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 4th Annual Colors International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.

For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography using a concentration of color. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.

The Colors Best in Show winners are Anthony R. Whelihan for his watercolor mixed media, “Akachi, God’s Hand”, Carmen Teixidor for her digital art, “Phoenix” and Rose M. Peltier for her sculpture, “Marley”. Anthony, Carmen and Rose are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of March 2020 and, as the Best in Show winners, all three artists are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s 5th Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2021.

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Jun Min Park, Ami J. Sanghvi and Sharon Keshishian. Third Place awards were given to Diane Morgan, Gareth Jones and Jacki Cohen. Fourth Place awards were given to Cher Pruys, Barbara Mierau-Klein and Darko Stanic. Fifth Place awards were given to Paul Tambellini, John Diephouse and Arthur Uphold.

Rounding out the awards for the exhibition are sixteen Honorable Mention winners. Honorable Mention awards in the Traditional Art category were given to Vivian Antonini, Tiffany Rahmati, Lessa Clayton, Jimmy Gockel, Kory Russell, Cyndy Barab, Lisa Chin and Natalia Ros.

Honorable Mention awards in the Photography & Digital category were given to Kelly J. Harvey Y. Hope Osborn, Rob Coapman, Rosemary Miklitsch, Timonty Sens, Paul M. Murray, Ulrike Unterbruner and Diane Ligouri.

The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, Finland, Germany, Czech Republic, Croatia, France, Guatemala, Ireland, Malaysia, Slovakia, South Africa, Boznia & Heregovina, the Philippines and North Macedonia. Overall the gallery judged 497 entries for the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for the month of March.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions.
