Mygrow’s daily Emotional Intelligence practice expands to North America
Mygrow (mygrow.meNA), a technology firm dedicated to brain-based Emotional Intelligence building, especially through workplaces, is establishing a North American presence. Successful across the African continent and into Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, they recently announced the launch of Mygrow North America.
“We are on a mission to build an emotionally intelligent world,” says Mark Baker, CEO and Chief Psychologist for Mygrow. “Having cultural experts on the ground in North America for additional qualified thought leadership, customer support, and business development is critical for the expansion of that world.”
Mark L. Vincent, previously founder of Design Group International and the Society for Process Consulting, is bringing leadership to Mygrow North America. The team includes Kimberly Whittaker, a former Cisco engineering leader and current executive coach and neuro-coaching expert. “I’ve used hundreds of tools and techniques in my thirty years of experience, and Mygrow is by far the most effective approach I have ever seen,” she says. “Mygrow is a tool that produces tangible, measurable results for people and organizations through experiential learning. With Mygrow, you are actively involved in the process of transforming your relationship with yourself and with others.”
Rounding out the team are Danae Tiedje, a people-centric sales and marketing innovator, and Patricia Teall Vincent, a coach and Process Consultant in policy spaces.
Mygrow, based in Cape Town, provides a multi-dimensional technology platform that develops, measures, and tracks the competencies in the domain of EQ. The platform operating on any mobile or desktop device, also boasts state-of-the-art assessments centered around daily 10-minute sessions (involving a captivating video, a brief quiz, and a quick exercise). These dynamic algorithms track development, gamification, and live reporting dashboards for organizations. Company interventions leverage a comprehensive change management infrastructure for large-scale behavioral change to facilitate engagement in daily sessions.
Neuroscience shows that this kind of consistent work over time creates new neural connections that reinforce developing habits, helping a person or a team more readily acknowledge and direct their emotions rather than being controlled by them.
While being a new entrant to the North American Market, Mygrow’s methodology has already been proven to significantly impact the EQ of leaders, individuals, teams and companies as seen by the case studies, which you can get a glimpse of here.
